In January 2026 we moved into a new office at Moutstraat 54, in the centre of Ghent.
We needed the room. Since Nick Destrycker and Wouter Benoot founded EDGX, the team has grown. We now have engineers in electronics, software, applications, mechanical and thermal design, and testing, as well as a team on the business side.
Last summer we closed a seed round of €2.3 million and signed our first commercial order. Our first launch is planned for the first months of this year. More orders mean more units to build and test, and more people to do it.
Our own lab
The office includes our own lab. The engineers who design our computers now work in the same building as the team that builds and tests them. If a test shows something unexpected, the designer can come and take a look the same day.
Following our missions
The office also has an operations space. This is where we will follow our computers once they are in orbit, with a live dashboard for each mission.
Room to grow
The new office leaves space for more people as the team grows. Looking for new opportunities? See which profiles we are hiring for on our careers page.
