Student Lab Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Preparing for environmental testing
· Cable Fabrication: Soldering, assembling, and customising cables to meet specific test requirements.
· Potting Cables: Applying protective coatings to enhance cable durability and performance.
Organising the laboratory
· Stock Management: Keeping an up-to-date inventory of lab supplies to ensure seamless operations.
· Clean and Safe Environment: Maintaining a well-organised, clutter-free, and safe workspace.
· Equipment Quality Assurance: Conducting regular functionality tests on lab equipment to verify reliability.
Establishing lab policies
· Standardising Procedures: Developing and refining lab policies to enhance efficiency and uphold safety protocols.
What you're bringing
· Must have: Currently pursuing college-level studies in electronics.
· Experience with soldering and basic electronics work.
· Exceptional attention todetail.
· A college-level education in electronics is essential, but what truly sets you apart is your eagerness to learn and contribute in a space technology environment.
