Internship Opportunities

What you'll be doing

  • Assembly & Integration: Performing precise mechanical and electrical assembly of our space systems, including mounting enclosures to PCBAs, applying thermal interfaces, and assembling structural components.
  • Testing & Validation: Performing electronic validation of our products using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analysers. Building test setups to mechanically and electronically validate our final assemblies. 
  • Production Scaling: Transitioning our products from low-volume builds to mass production. This involves designing and optimising the assembly process, developing jigs and fixtures, and defining the workflow for a scalable production line. 
  • Environmental Testing: Organising and supervising environmental test campaigns, and communicating test reports to our customers.
  • Product Optimisation: Collaborating with R&D teams by providing practical feedback based on testing and integration experiences to enhance product designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting thorough visual and technical inspections of incoming materials and components to verify they meet our quality standards.

What you're bringing

  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering/ Electromechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Hands‑on technical expertise in mechanical and electronic assembly, developed through professional roles and/or independent projects.
  • Tools and skills: 
    • Ability to read and interpret CAD models and engineering drawings.
    • Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
    • Soldering of SMD components up to 0402
    • Basic experience with a Linux environment and Python scripting
  • Strong skills in writing clear documentation and collaborating with teams.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical approach ensuring precision and reliability.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • Background in the space industry is a plus.
